John 3:16 NLT “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
Romans 5:6-11 NLT When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God’s condemnation. For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son. So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God. (Emphasis mine)
But when bad things happen in our lives things like; death of a loved one, the end of a close relationship with a friend, the end of a marriage, loss of a job, financial crisis, start to question our value, our worth. The problem is usually where we derive our worth. your worth come from people, situations, calmness, or drama? When we depend on these things for our value, when they get shaky or disappear, we question our value.
God is where we should derive our value. He will never leave. He will never change His opinion of you. Never.
Deuteronomy 31:6, 8 NLT So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. The next time you start to question your value, you worth go to God’s Word to see how much He values you.
Here are thirteen verses along with comments compiled by Aaron Brown in his article "13 Verses to Read When You Forget Your Worth" (All scripture from NLT)

God doesn’t turn His back on us, even in times of trouble. Scripture informs us that He is near the brokenhearted, and this verse reminds us that God hears our prayers.
Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? Matthew 6:26 NLT
How often do we doubt God’s ability to provide for the plants or animals in nature? If we could apply this same mindset to our own lives, our perspectives would be much different.

Another reminder is that God provides for the animals consistently, while reminding us that our worth is greater than theirs. If God provides for them, what more will He do for us?
He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection. Psalms 91:4 NLT

So, God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. Genesis 1:27 NLT
We are worthy. And we’re worthy in a sense unlike the animals, plants, planets, and more. We bear the image of God.
