9 Amazing Reasons to Praise God during Crisis
1. God Is Worthy of Praise
But how can we praise God when things look bleak? It makes sense when God answers our prayers. It’s easy to praise when our loved one who is sick recovers. But what about when things are not going as we want them to go...can we still praise God?
Although it may feel strange, the most important thing we can do right now, or in the middle of any crisis, is to praise God.
Habakkuk 3:17-19 NLT Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the Lord ! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation! The Sovereign Lord is my strength! He makes me as surefooted as a deer, able to tread upon the heights. (For the choir director: This prayer is to be accompanied by stringed instruments.)
If we could just hold onto this truth, it would make all the difference in the world:

Psalms 42:11 NLT Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God!
Hebrews 11:1 NLT Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.
Yes God Is Worthy Of Praise
We are to praise God at all times. Not because of what he does, but because of who he is!
Psalms 34:1-3 NLT I will praise the Lord at all times. I will constantly speak his praises. I will boast only in the Lord ; let all who are helpless take heart. Come, let us tell of the Lord’s greatness; let us exalt his name together.
When God answers our prayer and we praise him, we’re doing so because he answered what we asked. But when difficult circumstances remain, and we choose to trust God, that is pleasing to him.
Hebrews 11:6 NLT And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.
We must have faith in Faith in God alone, not in what He can do.
