Praising God’s Greatness
David wrote this Psalm as both an expression of faith and a call to praise God for His glory and greatness. He promises to personally praise God forever. He wants everybody to join him in recognizing His greatness in terms of his mighty works, his glory and splendor, his great goodness, his gracious compassion, his tender mercies, his glorious and everlasting kingdom, his providential care, his righteousness, his holiness, and his availability for those who call upon him in truth and with fear.
David ends by repeating his promise to praise God forever then he invites all of mankind to join him in that everlasting praise. That invitation is to us. Send your RSVP and join the praise.

Great is the Lord
So worthy of praise
Great is the Lord
One generation will
Commend Your kingdom
To one another
They will speak of You
And I will meditate
On Your wonder
And they, they will speak
Of Your glorious splendor
Of Your majesty
Everyday I'll praise Thee
Forever and ever
Everyday I will praise
Everyday I will praise
For You open Your hand
And satisfy desires of all things
My God, the King
The Lord is gracious
And slow to anger
He is rich in love
He is good to all
