Deuteronomy 31:6 (HCSB)6 Be strong and courageous; don’t be terrified or afraid of them. For it is the LORD your God who goes with you; He will not leave you or forsake you.”
I remembered that while all of those things were happening in 2015 that God was working them together for good to conform me to the image of His Son.
Romans 8:28-29 (HCSB)28 We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose.29 For those He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers.
Here is something that I wrote in my last post of 2014. It is from the book “Anne of Green Gables” by Lucy Maude Montgomery. “Isn’t it nice to think that tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it yet?” That’s enough to make you shout.
The year 2016 starts with excitement and anticipation and there are no mistakes in it. At 12:01 January 1st. let’s start the year with the Word of God. Here are 16 inspirational scriptures to get us started. I pray that 2016 will be your best year yet.

2. Hebrews 12:1-2 (HCSB) 1 Therefore, since we also have such a large cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily ensnares us. 3. Hebrews 12:10-11 (HCSB) 10 For they disciplined us for a short time based on what seemed good to them, but He does it for our benefit, so that we can share His holiness. 11 No discipline seems enjoyable at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it yields the fruit of peace and righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
