The phrase “It’s all of Him, and none of us” is not in the Bible but it is biblical because it is “all of Him and none of us”.

My Bible Study group just finished a study of the book of Galtians and in it Paul was very forceful and adamant that salvation can’t be attained by works but by faith alone.
Galatians 2:15-16 NIV “We who are Jews by birth and not sinful Gentiles know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.
Paul pointed out that religion is a dead-end street, leaving you always wondering, “Have I done enough.”
Romans 7:14-18, 24-25 NIV We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin. I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law, but in my sinful nature a slave to the law of sin.
Believers put no confidence in anything the flesh can do. Good intentions are not good enough. Putting our confidence in our literal flesh, or abilities and capacities, is good only for some things. Exercise builds our bodies up. But we can never do the things of the Spirit using our own skills.
Zechariah 4:6 NIV So he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.
Putting our confidence on our sinful nature, on the other, hand is foolishness. It assures us of failures, and guarantees that we could never ever live a life pleasing to God.

Only the righteousness of Christ will do – because it’s the only perfect righteousness.

This expression eternal life describes not only a life that endures forever but, is also the highest quality of living that one can experience.
