My last sermon, “What Does The Bible Say About Depression - A Sermon”, and last three Tuesday Night Bible Studies at The Church of Divine Guidance (“What Does The Bible Say About Depression”, “When Your World Has Been Turned Upside Down”, and “What If The Answer Never Comes?”, all make the point that no matter how difficult the circumstances, or how long it takes if ever you can place your faith and trust in God because because He has promised and proved that;
He loves you,
1 John 4:8-10 ESV Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
He will never leave or forsake you;
Deuteronomy 31:6 ESV Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you."
And His presence is always with you;
Habakkuk 2:20 ESV But the Lord is in his holy temple; let all the earth keep silence before him."
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 ESV Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.
